M/s Sheel Biotech Ltd a pioneer tissue culture lab, mad emodest beginnings in 1995 , under the supervision of Mr. S.N. Chandak and Mr. Sanjay Chandak, President at Manersar, Haryana. Over the years it has expanded its activites and now it is among the top 10 leading tissue culture laboratories in India. the company has a production capacity of about 6 million plants at Manesar, and has entered into a we made a joint venture with Biotech Park, Lucknow the first Park in the State of Uttar Pradesh. This facility has a production capacity of about 1 million plants. Banana, Bamboo, Zantedeschia, Orchids, Philodendron Xanadu, Yucca, Alloevera, Lemon grass are being produced. The Biotech Park Tissue culture facility has 6 laminar air and 4 growth rooms. At a time 12 operators can work in one shift and double shift and we can handle 24 operators at one day and depending on the needs the output could be doubled with two shifts operation schedule. The company has produced about 25 million of plants of which 3 lakhs plants have been produced at Biotech Park. In the coming season company will be producing about 1 million plants.
For primary and secondary hardening the company has established a polyhouse of 1000 s.q.m with the capacity of storing about 10 lakhs of primary hardening plants and has shade net house of 15500 Sq. m for secondary hardening. It has the capacity to store about 3 lakhs of plants in polybag.
