Sepragen Biotech India Pvt. Ltd. is the Indian operation for Sepragen Corporation, Hayward CA, USA and has been registered as an Indian company in India. The company undertakes R & D work related to purification systems for pharmaceuticals and food industry and manufacture state of the art “Radial Chromatography” systems and “Quantasep” automated chromatography process control systems for the Pharma Industry, which are fully FDA compliant. It has already manufactured and exported FDA compliant Stainless steel chromatography columns to international Pharma clients. Sepragen Corporation has developed its proprietary/ patented chromatography columns, automated control systems, viral inactivation systems, whey purification (isolation of high value proteins) process, fruit juice de- bittering process and high density cell culture systems. The vision for Sepragen India is to become a viable hub for high volume low cost manufacturing and an important research center for future products and process development. In addition, a GMP contract manufacturing facility for antibodies and other biological is also proposed to be setup in India. The company plans to set up an assembly and testing facility for critical high value components and sub assemblies. It will also set up fabrication & machine shop for manufacture of components and testing & assembly line for automated chromatography controllers. At Biotech Park, the company has leased out 1848 sq ft space.
