HH BioTechnologies Pvt. Ltd. (HH Bio) with its research and development center situated at Biotech Park, Lucknow, is a part of North India Based HH Bio groups, with assets size of nearly 2 millions US$ dedicated to Biotechnology based works.
HH Bio was founded by 28 years old, first generation entrepreneur Mr. Amit Gupta, after getting his research experience from NCBS-TIFR Bangalore in the field of Neurobiology.
Presently company is focusing on following key areas:
- Plant Transgenic: At Biotech Park, Lucknow, the company is trying to clone and express some novel protein of high therapeutic value inside the non-edible plant systems, making plants as future Biofactories. The works is at the nascent stages and presently we are screening various model plants through Bioinformatics and establishing their tissue cultures protocols. The company has leased out 560 sq. ft area in the ground floor of the Incubation Block of Biotech Park.
- Plant Tissue Cultures: The company shares two millions plants per annum micro propagation facility with state of art two acre campus at Agra (largest of its kind in complete Uttar Pradesh) tissue culture of Banana, Gerbera, Carnation, Stevia and Jatropha.
- Bioinformatics: At Biotech Park from past eight months We are working on generating one of the world's finest databases, comprising of nearly 25,000 web pages. This will be freely accessible from 1st of Jan'09. www. humaninfection.com
Presently HH Bio employs' nearly 50 peoples in both of its campuses, most of them are Post Graduates in Biological Sciences. Time to time company organizes its campuses in various renowned colleges / Universities of North India.
