AquaBioChips Genomics (India) Pvt Ltd. aims to make high-end and sophisticated genetic marker-based screening tools accessible to everyone at an affordable price. More specifically, it will develop and commercialize low cost in situ synthesized custom microarrays and conduct research to extend its portfolio of molecular biology techniques that can be commercialized and are relevant for developing nations. The Company also intends to develop and commercialize a hand-held point-of-care real-time PCR device (Gene Analyzer). The Company acquired 454 sqft built up space at Biotech Park and shall provide services and products related to microbial diagnostic biochips, and provide hands on training in emerging areas such as microarrays, molecular biology, bio-informatics, and nanotechnology.
