Intellectual Property Lab is a specialty law firm established in October 2006 at Lucknow by Rahul Dutta. The purpose to establish a specialized law firm dealing exclusively in IP was to serve the IP creators based in non-metros and to preserve the national wealth by securing IP rights and traditional knowledge using various IP tools. Intellectual Property Lab is providing IP services to departments, MNCs, firms, industry Associations and individuals to create wealth for the nation.

Rahul Dutta is a Patent Attorney. He is LL.M (IP) graduate from National Law University, Jodhpur. National Law University, 0. in 2002 and Rahul joined the first batch and passed with the top rank and a Gold Medal. The Company holds seminars and lectures on Wealth Creation through IPR at various platforms for industrialists, exporters, researchers, engineers, students and government officials. The Company caters to IP related to science & technology; and specializes in IP law, current affairs, WTO and international trade.

Intellectual Property Lab established relationship with Biotech Park, Lucknow in 2007 by the means of a MoU between two entities. The purpose was to provide a single window system for the IP needs of Biotech Park and the clients of the Park. The Biotech Park and Intellectual Property Lab jointly organized a workshop on 'IPR and Opportunities in Biotech' which was widely appreciated. IPL regularly joins Biotech Park in various training programs conducted by the Park for the young students, researchers, scientists and entrepreneurs.
