IPL is an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Company. Its R&D unit at Tiwariganj, Lucknow has recently been recognized by DSIR, New Delhi. The main plant at UPSIDC industrial area, plot no. E-17-23, Dewa road, Chinhat has full fledged facilities for large scale commercial production of different types of chemicals. The company was founded in 1973 by Mr. Anand Swarup Aggarwal, an industrialist with strong vision, especially for production of agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals. R & D unit is fully equipped with pilot plant facilities e.g. chilled water, steam, hot oil system , vacuum system and analytical tools including GC and HPLC. The well known products of the company are Captan, Folpet, Lindane, Thiram, Ziram, Chlorpyrifos, Tolnaflate , rubber chemicals and dye intermediates etc. Considering the importance of bio-active compounds in the field of healthcare and agriculture, the company has recently embarked on new projects in this area. The Company has acquired 230 sq ft built up space and established a unit at Biotech Park for production of a novel conjugate of curcumin and piperine that have cancer preventive properties. Its laboratory scale preparation is already in progress and will soon be followed with pilot scale production.
