Hindustan Bioenergy Pvt. Ltd. unit is established at Kundanganj, Raiberelly (U.P.). The main objective of the unit is the plantation of Jatropha raised by tissue culture and through cutting methods. These saplings will be planted at unutilized and barren land. The feedstock produced from these plantations will be used for the purpose of HSD (Diesel) as well as lubricating oil. The marketing of oil and byproduct shall begin from 2009-2010. The company acquired 900 sq ft built up space at the Park. It is establishing tissue culture lab for raising tissue culture banana plants etc. A 1000 sq meter LDPE house and two 1200 and 500 sq meters polyhouses have been erected. The plants will be provided to farmers in and around Raibarelly. The unit will also have a soil testing lab for analysis of nutrients from samples of different planting sites. The company will set up Krishi Sewa Kendra as the sale point for the biofertilizers like- NADEP, vermicompost and Azotobactor. The company has an agreement with Biotech Park through which park provides elite variety of Jatropha plants and technical guidance.
