Biotech Park to promote biofuel signed an agreement on 15th September, 2007 with M/s Green Oil. The company aims to cultivate suitable biofuel crops on environmentally sound principles, develop energy balanced plantation models, improve biofuel crops for higher productivity and R & D based technologies and protocols related to sustainable development of biofuel resources. Under this programme Park will raise elite nursery of the Pongamia pinnata and will support the party in terms of oil testing, chromatography of target metabolites, pilot plant extraction facility, biofertilizers and other Biodiesel related R & D.
