Biotech Park, Lucknow entered into an agreement with U.P. Bioenergy Ltd., Lucknow on 13th September, 2007. The company will go for massive plantation of Jatropha plants in U.P., mostly at nearby location of Lucknow and setup a trans-esterificattion unit on Lucknow-Raibareli high way. Biotech Park will provide planting material and technical support for plantation of Jatropha curcas plants and other agriculture inputs such as biofertilizers, biopesticides, growth promoters and micronutrients for optimal growth.
