Biotech Park, Lucknow was inaugurated on December 7, 2008 by Sri Kapil Sibal, Honb’le Union Minister for Science and Technology & Earth Sciences. Sri Abdul Mannan, Minister for Science and Technology, Government of Uttar Pradesh presided over the Inaugural function and Dr. M.K. Bhan, Secretary, Department Biotechnology; Government of India was the Guest of Honor. Dr. Manju Sharma, President & Executive Director, Indian Institute of Advanced Research, Ahmedabad; Dr. V.P. Sharma, Formerly ADG, ICMR & Director, Malaria Research Center, Delhi along with a galaxy of scientists from various cities and entrepreneurs from USA were also present during the inaugural function. Several Media person and government officials were present on this occasion.
