CEO, Biotech Park, Lucknow, Dr. P.K. Seth attended The 34th Congress on Science & Technology of Thailand (STT 34) held at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand from October 31- November 2, 2008. The theme of the congress was "Science and Technology for Global Challenges". He delivered a Special Lecture in the Biomedical Science Session on the topic “Need for Toxicity and Safety Evaluation of Traditional Medicines”.

During his visit to Bangkok, Dr. Seth took the opportunity to visit Thailand Science Park and National Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC) on October 31, 2008 with the objective to learn about the administration of Thailand Science Park and to explore possibilities of collaboration with National Science and Technology Develoment Agency (NSTDA).

Dr. Chachanat, Vice President of NSTDA and Dr. Supat, Assistant President of NSTDA welcomed Dr. Seth. He visited the Mycology laboratory and Thai Traditional Medicine and Herbal Development Center.
