The increasing interest of western countries for biosimilar drugs has encouraged Indian Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil) to structure a biotech specific export promotion plan. The council planned to involve Association Of Biotechnology-Led Enterprises to set up new working group on biotech sector. Since it is an emerging area it will take some time to get established.
