A walk-in-interview will be held in the Biotech Park Office at Sector G, Jankipuram, Kursi Road, Lucknow (U.P.) India on December 3, 2009 at 11.00 a.m. for filling-up of the following posts. Interested candidates fulfilling the requisite qualifications and experience below 35 years of age, as on the date of interview may appear before the selection committee. The selected candidate will have to join immediately. Appointment for the Post at S.No. 1 will be made upto July 7, 2010 and for Post No. 2&3 initially for one year and extendable based on performance till duration of project.
(1). SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (ONE POST) |
a) |
Qualifications & Experience |
M.Sc. First Class Botany/Forestry/Horticulture with two years experience of field plantation. |
b) |
Desirable |
Experience of High Tech forest nurseries, statistical computations preferably using SPSS Software, publication in forestry. |
c) |
Job Requirement |
Those with experience in Jatropha cultivation will be given preference |
d) |
Emoluments |
Rs. 12000/-p.m. (Consolidated) + 15% HRA. |

(2). SENIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (ONE POST) |
a)

Educational Qualification: |
Ist Class M.Sc. in Analytical/Inorganic Chemistry or M.Pharma knowledge of computers and one year experience in operation and maintenance of GLC, HPLC, HPTLC and other analytical equipments conforming GLP/GMP/ISO guidelines, as evident by the report/ publications. |
b) |
Job requirement |
To assist Scientist in day-to-day analytical work, operations and maintenance of various equipments. |
c) |
Emoluments |
Rs. 12,000/- per month fixed. |

(3). Office Assistant (One Post) |

a)

Educational Qualification |
Graduate (Science) with 55% and above marks.
Two years hand on experience in laisoning work, handling correspondence, HRD work and maintenance of records in a scientific institution.

Job requirement |
Liaison work with industries and local institutions, handling correspondence with different departments, maintenance of office records and assist in Human Resource Development activities. |
c) |
Desirable |
One year diploma in Computer and conversant with Govt. procedure and rules.

Emoluments |
Rs. 12,000/- p.m. fixed.

TERMS & CONDITIONS |
- The minimum age limit for all the posts is 18 years and maximum age not above 35 years (as on the last date of receipt of applications) Relaxation of age for SC/ST/ Woman /OBC/PH (deaf or partially deaf) Govt. /Semi Govt. institute shall be as per Govt. of India orders.
- The aforesaid positions are purely temporary co-terminus with the project and do not give the incumbent any right whatsoever for appointment on regular basis.
- The applicant will have to submit typed and duly signed application on plain paper on the day of interview stating:

- Applications must be accompanied by a latest passport size photograph and attested copies of certificates
- Original certificates/degree and testimonials shall be produced by the candidate for verification at the time of test/interview.
- The interview will begin at 11.00 a.m. and the candidates are required to register their name and submit their applications form duly filled-up an hour in advance.

- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test/interview.
- Those employed in Govt. Deptt./Autonomous Bodies should send their application through proper Channel.
- Relaxation of age limit, qualification and/or experience in case of exceptionally meritorious candidate may be allowed with the prior approval of competent authority.
- Mere fulfillment of minimum prescribed qualifications and experience will not vest any right on a candidate for being called for test/ interview. The decision of the institute in this regard will be final. If the suitable candidate is not found for SRF the same shall be filled by appointing JRF on minimum stipend.
- Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated disqualification for the post.
