Scientists have found that Cells in the outer layer of heart can migrate into failing organ to carry out essential repairs.Migration of progenitor cells is controlled by thymosin beta 4 a protein , which reduce muscle cell loss after heart attack.This finding opens possibility of using the protein for treatment of heart diseases.
