Dr. (Mrs.) Manju Sharma, felicitated by Lucknow Scientists on being honored with Padma Bhushan Award.
Dr. (Mrs.) Manju Sharma, President& Executive Director, Indian Institute of Advanced Research, Ahmedabad and Former Secretary, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India was felicitated by Lucknow scientists on April 23, 2007 on being honored with Padma Bhushan Award this year. Dr. Nityanand felicitating Dr. (Mrs.) Sharma recalled her valuable contributions to the over all growth of biotechnology in the country.

On this occasion Dr. (Mrs.) Manju Sharma also delivered a lecture entitled “Biotechnological advances and their applications for societal development”. The lecture was extremely informative and was attended by a large number of scientists, members of UPASTA and entrepreneurs. The lecture was jointly organized by Biotech Park and Uttar Pradesh Association for Science and Technology Advancement (UPASTA). The lecture was presided over by Dr. Nityanand.
