The inaugural function of skill programme on "Value Addition to Rich Bioresources in North East Region" was held on 13th March 2018 at St. Edmund's College, Shillong, Meghalaya. The skill programme is jointly organized by Biotech Park, Lucknow, and St. Edmund's College, Shillong during 13th March to under the aegis of IBSD, Imphal sponsored project "Skill Development in Biotechnology in North East India". The chief guest of inaugural function Prof. Pramod Tandon, CEO, Biotech Park released the manual for the skill programme, along with Principal, Dr. Sylvanus Lamare and Bro. Simon Coelho, St. Edmund's College along with Prof. Rishi Shanker, guest faculty, Biotech Park. The trainees, students and faculty of Biotechnology and Biosciences participated in the inaugural function and came together for a group photograph. Prof. Pramod Tandon, Prof. Rishi Shanker, Mr. Shyam Kumar and Dr. Samrat Adhikari, skill programme coordinator at St. Edmund's College delivered lectures to introduce the topic of skill programme, innovation and entrepreneurship.
