Prof. Veena Tandon, NASI Senior Scientist Platinum Jubilee Fellow, Biotech Park, Lucknow was invited as a Distinguished Speaker in the Wellness Con-2019, International Conference on Wellness, organised by University Institute of Health Science, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur on 8 - 10 November, 2019. Prof. Tandon delivered a talk titled "Emerging Worm-borne Zoonoses: Health Concerns and Challenges in India" on 8 November, 2019.

Prof. Tandon was also honoured and conferred the Outstanding Scientist Award by Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur for her commendable contribution in the field of medical education and dedicated services to the society.
